Frozen Foods
With so many different types of fish food available these days including flakes, pellets, freeze dried and live foods, it can be confusing to know what to feed for the best.
As dry foods are man made, they inanimate and provide no stimulus for the fish to feed. This means that many fish do not adapt to this way of feeding and there is no risk they may not obtain all their dietary requirements from this type of food.
Live foods, on the other hand, are found in the fishes' natural environment and are therefore readily recognized and accepted by all fish.
However, by feeding live foods, there is a serious risk of introducing parasites or pathogens into the aquarium. Frozen Food is a risk free alternative to live foods.
