Nitrate filters - either as a reactor or alcohol use sulfur reactor
Schuran nitrate filters work on the basis of bacterial and biological filters, in which denitrification bacteria under optimized conditions are propagated. These bacteria convert the nitrate to harmless nitrogen . The feeding of the bacteria is carried out with sulfur or - even more powerful - with diluted alcohol.
All nitrate filters are inclusive of a pump.
